You Trained to Treat Patients, Not Chase Claims and Credentials.

Fractional practice management and RCM support built for solo and small practice providers.

Running your own practice means being the physician, office manager, and billing department all at once. Credentialing sits unfinished, claims go out late, and revenue quietly slips away in ways a larger practice would catch. MediCommerce works alongside you as a fractional practice management and RCM partner, handling credentialing, billing, and AR with the consistency of an in house team, without the cost of building one.

Insurance Verification & Eligibility in texas

What We Do For You

Insurance Credentialing

We submit your credentialing applications according to each payer’s documented process, follow up on status every 30 days, respond to any queries a payer raises, and track every application through to an approved, in network status. Credentialing delays directly delay your ability to bill and collect, so we treat every open application as revenue in progress, not paperwork sitting in a queue. Credentialing is priced separately from Core Billing and Staffing Solutions. Visit our Credentialing and Contracting Services page for full details.

Fractional Practice Management
MediCommerce provides fractional practice management for independent physicians and small groups, an executive level role overseeing your leads and managers on the ground. Support covers daily operations, staffing coordination, vendor relationships, and compliance oversight, delivered onsite part time, such as once a week, or billed hourly. You pay only for the work delivered, without the cost of a full time executive hire.

Core Billing Services

MediCommerce manages your core billing cycle on a contingent fee starting at 2.49 percent, covering charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable management through to collection. Once insurance has processed a claim, we also handle clean electronic patient statements for any remaining balance. Ancillary functions like coding, eligibility verification, and prior authorization are handled separately through our Staffing Solutions, billed hourly or as a fixed monthly cost per role, so you only pay for what your practice actually needs. Many practices use Core Billing and Staffing Solutions together, while others start with just one and add the other as they grow.

Practice Support, As You Need It

Many solo and small practice providers eventually need help beyond billing and credentialing, whether that is scheduling, referral coordination, or documentation management. MediCommerce can step into any of these functions individually, so you only add the support your practice actually needs, when it needs it.

Predictable Cashflow in rcm texas

Why This Matters For Your Practice

In a solo or small practice, there is no buffer. One denied claim, one delayed credentialing application, or one missed prior authorization has an immediate and visible effect on your income in a way it never would at a larger group with more providers to absorb the loss. MediCommerce exists to close that gap, so your cash flow stays predictable and your time stays with patients instead of paperwork.

Why Independent Physicians and Nurse Practitioners Choose MediCommerce

Across every specialty we support, the practices that see the best results are the ones we work with collaboratively, not as an outside vendor but as part of the practice itself. MediCommerce meets with practices on a weekly basis to surface issues, discuss them, and resolve them quickly, so revenue keeps moving instead of sitting stuck in a queue. You get your own billing team at a fraction of the cost of building one internally, along with a dedicated account manager from MediCommerce who is always available to answer questions and work through whatever comes up. It ends up feeling less like an outside billing company and more like your own.

FAQ

I do not have any billing staff at all right now. Can MediCommerce still help?

Yes. Many of the independent physicians and nurse practitioners we work with have no internal billing staff when they come to us. We can take over the full billing cycle from day one.

Timelines vary by payer, but we follow up on every application every 30 days and keep you informed of status at each stage, so there are no surprises or gaps in follow up.

Yes. Our credentialing, billing, and practice support services are built for independent physicians and nurse practitioners alike, and we understand the specific credentialing requirements that apply to nurse practitioner practice in Texas.

We work on whatever system your practice already has in place, so there is no need to switch platforms to work with us. We have direct experience with Athena, eClinicalWorks, Azalea, Tebra, and CollaborateMD. If you are a new practice or considering a change in your practice management system, our recommended platform is Tebra.

Yes. We can take on AR from a previous billing company, though this work runs at a slightly higher percentage than newly billed claims, since older AR takes more effort to research and resolve than claims we bill ourselves from the start.

Coding denials are handled by our coding staff through Staffing Solutions, billed on an hourly basis. This keeps coding support flexible, so your practice can bring in exactly the level of coding attention it needs without committing to a fixed cost.

No. We work on a month to month basis with no long term contract required. If you decide to part ways, we ask for 30 days notice, and we continue working any outstanding accounts receivable for up to 180 days after your last date of service to make sure claims we billed on your behalf are fully collected before we close out.
